Last weekend we went to Richfield to watch my little brother JD play basketball. Briton had a blast. We took his bumbo for him to sit in during the games and he loved it. He was such a happy baby the whole time! I saw so many people I hadn't seen for ages. It was so much fun to talk to friends and family and of course watch a little bball.
We were there almost all day on Friday and Saturday so most of Briton's naps were taken on Grandma's lap. I couldn't believe how well he slept despite the cheers, music, and of course an occasional scream here and there.
Too bad there wasn't much for us to scream about. Richfield choked in the semi-final game against Manti and in the game for 3rd and 4th against SS. Yeah, Saturday was such a depressing day. We watched the boys lose to South Sevier by like 20 and then the girls in the Championship game by like 30 to South Sevier also. But it's been a LONG TIME since the girls and boys basketball teams have made it that far so they really should be proud.
Luckily JD, #22, is just a Junior so hopefully next year they can redeem themselves.
