February in a nutshell

Beware...Lots of Pictures! But they are oh so cute! Brit Loves to play in the Preschool. The only problem is he makes a monster mess! He is constantly bringing toys in and out from the preschool room, but it's so fun to see his little imagination at work!
He loves his bike and picked up on the pedaling pretty quickly! When it was cold outside I would let him ride it up and down the halls in the house!

He had a blast!

Hadley moved into Briton's old carseat at the beginning of the month and she was pretty excited! Her brother...

Not so much! He got used to it and now loves it!

Uncle Mevin came down to visit a few weeks ago and we went to the park to enjoy the sunshine! Too bad it went away just a few days later:(

We packed a lunch, but the grass and leaves where a lot more fun to eat.She enjoyed watching the big kids play, dreaming of the day when she'll be right there with em.
I know i've said this 100 times but Brit loves to read. Justin got this vidoe of him reading and it is just so stinkin cute!

I made some Homemade Oreo cookies and colored the frosting all Spring colors, hoping it would have an effect on the cold rainy weather outside, but it didnt. We still had fun and they were super yummy!

They LOVE bathtime! And I finally got a good picture of BOTH of them to put up on the bathroom wall. The picture frame has been empty for more than 11 months now! haha

She loves to eat all by herself. She kinda just skipped the babyfood and went right to bog people food. Shes doing great with it! She has also been on milk for almost a month! YAY for no more formula!!!

Brit is our little snacker. He always wants to eat, but he'll only take a few bites and then he's off again! Sometimes he'll surprise us and scarf 2 hotdags or a whole burrito, or ask for seconds. But thats not very often!

Hadley LOVES to clap. She'll clap for anything and everything. Sometimes shes just sitting there playing and something will get her excited and she'll start clapping away! It is so cute! She also loves to wave. And she's even got the 2 handed wave figured out.

Today we watched my friends little girl and they had so much fun! They played blocks, read lots of books, giggled, played chase, and sat at the little table together!

Hadley starts bouncin and shakin anytime she hears music, but this seems to be her favorite!
Well Hadley is going to be 11 months tomorrow and I am just in aww that the time has flown so fast! Pretty soon I'm going to have to start telling people I have a 1 year old and a 2 year old. Oh wow!

Happy Valentines Day

This year for Valentines Day I got a very sweet surprise! These showed up right as my parents for my morning preschool class were arriving to pick up there kids. Justin didnt plan it that way, but if he wanted to make all the other wifes jealous, he got points right there. They were BEAUTIFUL!!!! They lasted forever and I was so sad to throw them out! (oh the good ol days of saving every rose, drying them, and hanging them all over your room) Justin's Birthday is the 11th and so his parents came down to watch the kids so we could go to dinner and a movie. (I had to work that whole weekend so that was the extent of our romantic weekend)
And of course Grandma and Grandpa brought the kids thier Valentines to open a little early. Brit got the movie Incredibles and the Hadley got a Minnie Mouse movie.
Hadley also enjoyed her first sucker. She LoVeD it! I figured she suck on it for a while and then get bored, but she stood there for 20 minutes working on that thing! Needless to say she was a mess!

Do you think she was enjoying herself or what?
These balloon were from Grandma and Grandpa Mic. I think they liked them!

Kidz say the darndist things!

Briton is starting to get to that age where he says some funny things. I wish I had a recorder on him 24-7 because he is hilarious. I need to be better at writing these things down but here are a few.

He loves to read books all by himself and he is a speed reader. He just spats out every word he knows that goes along with the pictures he sees and turns the pages just as fast as he can. The best part about it is when he's done, he closes the book and says "Amen!" Then starts all over again with another one.

The other night he decided to wake up at 2:30 am and be wide awake. So we went out and started Scooby Doo and I fell asleep on the couch. I've been sick all week and apparently I was snoring. He kept waking me up and saying "Mom, be quiet! Shhhh! Hady's sleepin!" We must say that a lot! It was pretty funny! He probably woke me up 10 times to say that!

Justin had just put Hadley down and told Brit he needed to turn his music down. He did and then walked over to Justin and whispered "I put it away"

"Why Not?" He says this one 10 times in a row and is never happy with any answer we give him.

"No way!" (I hate that one but now I need to teach him "No Way Jose" so it's not so obnoxious)

"Sure!"

He also loves to talk on the phone with Grandmas and Grandpas! He gets mad at me if I talk to my mom and not let him talk to her.
