Kids!

I just love our kids! They are just so stinkin cute and have such fun personalities! We are so blessed! I just had a bunch of random pictures I wanted to put on here and tell you a little about each of them right now.
Together they are destroyers! They love playing together and are usually inseperable while at home. They both love playing with cars, geotrax, dragons, ponies, the kitchen, blocks, jumping on the tramp and swinging on the playground. Just to name a few of thier favorites! They also love morning cartoons and bubble guppies is what we watch all morning long. Brit has them all memorized and can sing you all the songs and tell you everything you need to know about the bubble guppies. Hadley loves to sing thier songs too and the last thing we sing at night when she is in bed is the bubble guppies song. They also love to hide under Brit's blankets in his room. They hide from monsters, polar bears, and anything else scary Brit can come up with at the time. They love it and would do it all day long. Now if life could be like that all the time I would be one lucky duck! Reality is that they love each other a lot, but also love to fight. They torture each other, chase each other, tackle each other, steal things when the other isn't looking and flat out drive each other crazy. All normal things a 3 and 2 year old would do.
Here they are playing at the sand dunes in Snow Canyon. It was a beautiful Feb. day and we took advantage of it! It was warm and wonderful!

Now I don't by any means love Brit any less than Hadley, I just seem to take more pictures of her lately. Guess I better do better:)
A few things about Brit right now. He is 3 1/2 and thinks he is 10! He loves playing with the older boys and can rough house it with them like he is 10. He can't wait to go to Preschool next year and always loads his backpack up and tells me he's ready. He is a sunbeam and loves going to Primary like a big boy! He does miss nursery, but once he is in his class he forgets all about it! He has the cutest teachers that he just loves. I've also been told that he is really good in class and sharing time which was a shock to me. He is such a crazy one most of the time. It was such a relief and I hope they weren't just telling me to be nice. I check on him often and he is always sitting in his chair listening. It makes me so pround! He also loves his babysitters right now and looks forward to going there everyday. It makes me feel a lot better about dropping him off each day. He also is a chick magnet already. He has already been picked by two of his girl friends to get married in the temple with. So watch out ladies, be ready for some competition! He loves being outside right now and we cant wait for it to stay consistently warm. Mother Nature keeps teasing us with beautiful weather just to slap us in the face with a cold windy weekend. The picture below is a perfect example of that weather. It was super cold and I told him if he wanted to go outside he had to go put a jacket and shoes on. This is something we fight about daily. Well this day he came out with his church vest (that he always refuses to wear) and told me he was ready. It was so cute I had to let him go outside.
Some of the funny things Brit has said lately (I wish I could remember them all)
*Justin fell asleep one night while putting Brit to bed. He apparently was snoring and Brit woke him up to tell him. "Daddy, you're loud. You sound like a cow, be quiet, your going to wake Hadley up!"
*He asked me the other day if my baby was going to come out of my mouth. When I told him no, he then asked "Well then where will it come out?" I didn't feel like going into details and just told him out of my stomach. Luckily he was okay with that answer.
*He loves going around telling everyone that "Mommy has a baby in her tummy" and when I mean everyone, I mean every random person at the store he can find. It's awesome:)
*Last week he went to stay at grandma and grandpa's houses while Justin and I were at Hawaii. My mom called Hadley a sweetheart or something like that and he said to her "He name is Hadley, not sweetheart, grandma!"
At Justin's parents house Randy found him outside sitting next to a little boy statue thats fishing, sitting just like him with his legs crossed and all. He had the fishing pole in his hands and told grandpa "The boy doesn't talk."
His imagination is starting to grow and he loves pretending like he is something else. Today in church he was a robot. He walked up and down the isle saying "I am a robot" in the cutest little robot voice.

Hadley is definately almost 2! She has got some attitude right now and refuses to listen to anything we say. She could also care less about time out and even if we just raise our voice at her she just runs over to the time out corner just for fun. She is also starting to pout and run to her room when she gets mad. It's cute right now, but Im sure it won't be in a few weeks. But she is also the cutest little thing ever. She makes the cutest faces and can always make anyone smile. Her curly hair gets her a ton of attention too and we are hoping it sticks around for a while. It is getting so long and my goal is to grow out her bangs so we don't have to deal with them. They are finally growing, but are at an aweful stage right now. They are always in her face! She loves getting dressed all by herself and doing everything by herself for that matter. She is always telling me "I DO IT!" whenever we try to get her ready in the morning, get lunch or breakfast ready, pour her milk, get the milk... just about everything! It makes for some pretty good battles, especially when we are running late:) She is also 95% potty trained and has been for about 2 months! Well maybe a little more like 80% on some days. She always goes poop in the potty, but we always still have at least 1 acctident a day. It is usually while she is playing outside or just having too much fun to stop for the potty. Most of the time it is just a little before she can actually make it to the potty, but we have our bad days where it is 3 or 4 times full out pee all over the chair! And she usually tells me she is doing it! It makes no sense, but I will take what I can I guess. I still put her in a diaper at night cause she still wakes up with a wet diaper most mornings. Hopefully when we break that the accidents will stop too! She is the best when we are out running errands or at church. She already knows that going potty gets her out of sacrement. They catch on so fast. But Justin usually jumps all over it and is out the door with her before I know it:) She is talking like crazy and in full sentences. She is learning her colors and shapes and loves to learn. She is just like Brit and likes to color, but loses interest real fast. She loves helping me cook and especially make goodies. She is a chocolate girl and loves anything sweet. She also loves snacks like chips and crackers and I catch her quite often in the kitchen with the chip drawer wide open and a bag of chips in hand. She loves being outside and swinging is by far her favorite thing to do. She will grab my hand and take me outside so I can push her. But she always smiles like this when she's swinging so I just can't resist!
Unicorn hair! She wakes up with the craziest hair somedays!
My favorite do is the pigtails. They don't last long, but are so stinkin cute!
GO COUGARS!

This is what they both look like eating their favorite lunch, Roman Noodles. Or Noodles if you ask them. They usually use their fork for first few minutes, but then it turns to this... shoveling it down one handful at a time! Such a fun mess to clean up too!
Oh and the little peanut waiting to make her appearance in June is growing so fast. She moves almost constantly and Justin has finally felt her move. Everything is looking good as far as doctors visits goes and I just can't believe I've only got 3 months left!

Bath Time

I just love Bath Time and so do the kids. The floor is usually soaking wet by the time they are done, but thats what towels are for right?

My Girls

One of my most favoritest girls ever, McCall got married back in January. She met the most perfect man for her and everything just fell into place. I couldn't be more excited for them! And she couldn't look more amazing!
So me and all my high school friends were able to get together for a quick night out to South China, and then off to McCalls reception. We hogged a table for most of the night and enjoyed catching up and eating lots of yummy goodies!
This post also inspired me to post some pictures of our little trip to Park City we did last August. All of us from Southern Utah and Richfield met up and took the long trek to Park City together where we met up with the Northern utah girls:) We had such a good time. We went to dinner, stayed up almost ALL night long talking at our beautiful condo, ate some yummy breakfast, and shopped all day! We all swore we wouldn't buy stuff our kids, but only ended up at Carters, Old Navy, Osh Kosh, and other kids stores. Maybe next time. (sigh) We were sad to see it end so soon and decided for sure that we would do it again the next year but for 2 nights cause it was just too fun!
