Our 10 month HadZilla!!!

I cant believe it but Hadley is 10 months. We are starting to talk about her 1st Birthday and that freaks me out!!! Just a few things about her as of now...
She has so much energy and is our little bundle of joy. She still loves to smile! She just started clapping and it is so cute. One morning she just stood up and started clapping for herself. She is also trying really hard to wave. She is crawling all over the place. She still army crawls, but can crawl on her knees too. She is just so much faster army crawling and she knows it! She can now pull herself up on stuff and also walks along the furniture. Just today I saw her let go of the furniture with one hand and balance for a while. So I'm sure in the next few months we'll have a walker. She loves playing with Brit and follows him around everywhere. She loves to mess up anything he is doing (thats where the HadZilla comes from), but Brit is pretty good with dealing with her. He likes having her by his side and is always saying "Come on Hady, Come on!" It's so cute! If she doesn't come fast enough he will grab her by the feet and pull her along. I took her into the doctor this last week because she was sick (she had her first ear infection) and she weighed in at 20.1 so she growing pretty fast. We are going to have to put her in a new car seat soon because I cant pack her around any more. She is such a jabber mouth and loves to scream at us if we are not paying attention to her. We started her on milk and I'm hoping to have her on all milk in the next few weeks. She loves to eat table food and is doing really good with it. She loves spaghetti, meatballs, rice, noodles, pickles, bread, and grapes. She still has four teeth, 2 on top and 2 on bottom. She fell off the couch the other day and I was a little worried about her top teeth because her mouth was pretty bloody, but they seem fine. She also scrapped her nose and forehead, got a little shiner, and her one eye went pretty bloodshot. But shes tough and is doing good now. It was one of those "I'm the worlds worst mother" experiences, but luckily kids are tough and she just landed on carpet and not tile.
We love you Hadley!

Church Outfits

I forgot to add these to our Christmas posts, but I had to show off our cute kids in their Christmas church outfits. Well at least one of our cute kids. Brit threw an all out fit when we tried to get him in his. The pants were off in 5 seconds, we didnt even get the cute tie on, and he would have gotten the shirt and vest off if he could. He tried for 20 minutes and I finally gave in and put him in something else cause I was NOT going to deal with that all 3 hours of church. So if anyone wants a cute 4T maroon and black dress outfit let me know. What a turd! At least Hadley looked cute. She even left her headband on long enough to get a few pictures!!! What a sweetie!

I'd like to blame the new 1:00 church for this tantrum!

Happy New Year!!!

New Years Eve this year was very uneventful for us unfortunately. I had to work all day and didn't get off til after 9:00. So when I got home the kids were in bed and I was beat! Justin was too from having the kids all day!!! So we relaxed and started a movie in bed, at midnight we kissed and rolled over to go to sleep. ha ha! When we woke up that morning Mrs. Clause had come and left the kids a fun toy!
Hadley got a fun walker and Brit got Buzz and Woody!! He loves them and plays with them all day!

We've made some resolutions this year and boy would it be great if we could really do them! Its mostly things like losing weight and eating healthier and of course drinking less soda. So far we've done okay and we have a long way to go but it will be well worth it in the end! So happy belated 2010! wow! it's wierd to even write that.

Fall in Winter

We had a lot of leaves this year. They seemed to fall really slow too. After we got home from our Christmas vacation we decided to go out and take advantage of the warm weather. Brit played in these forever and had so much fun with the dogs and leaves.

CHRISTMAS 2009 continued

Make sure you read the other one first. It was a fun filled week and required 2 posts. haha
This is Christmas morning and even though the kids didnt quiet grasp the whole santa thing yet, they had a great morning. Santa brought Brit some geo traks and Hadley some cool balls and a talking purse. Brit also got a tricycle, buzz and woody stuff and so much more. Hadley also got a pony, clothes, and of course so much more. What spoiled kids! Brits favorite toy was Hadleys pony and Hadleys favorite toy was this shakey thing that was loud and crazy but she loved it!
We relaxed all day, ate lots of good food, and played with all our new toys!! I was in awe all day that Christmas was almost over and we have wait another 365 days for the next one. BTW. We will now be spending Christmas at home. We are so excited to stay home and start all of our own traditions, but sad we wont be able to see all the family. Hopefully they will come visit us!
Well Justin and I got to go to the Jazz game on the 26th to see them play the 76ers. It was so much fun to just go up and enjoy each others company and not worry about anything else. It was a quick trip but so fun! Go jazz!! We bought hats and shirt for the game. We are HOT!!!
We also got to see Great Grandpa Phillips over the break and had a great time visiting with him. We tried to get a picture with him and the kids and it was Santa all over again.

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

CHRISTMAS 2009

Better late than never right? Well be prepared for a lot of pictures. We had such a great Christmas and got to spent so much time with family. It was so fun!!!
We first headed to Richfield to see my family. We left SG and the warm sunny skies and headed north toward dark gray skies and thought... WHAT ARE WE DOING? It ended up being worth it just watching Brit playing in the snow. He got all dresses up (in borrowed winter attire haha) but had so much fun and especially loved when grandma pulled him on the sled. I think grandma had good intentions of building a snowman but Brit kept kicking it over. Oh well!
That night we got dressed in Christmas attire and opened presents. They got a wagon that they loved! Hadley loved sitting in it and Brit played in it all night long. Justin and I got a vacuum (woot woot) picture frames, pans, and all those other fun things you get when your old! haha!
On Christmas Eve we headed to Cedar. We had a full night planned. We decorated cookies (Justins were the BEST) ate a lot of yummy food, played games, and of course opened presents!
Heres all the Girls

And Boys! What a good lookin bunch!
This is all of us crammed in the basement for present time. And it wasnt crammed because its a small room but because there were SO MANY PRESENTS!!! Holy cow our kids got spoiled!!

Heres all the grandkids in their pjs. Grandma Phillips made all of the older kids pjs with a matching blankets and pillowcases and then the younger kids also got matching blankets and pillowcases for their pjs.
We almost got the Christiansens to spend the night but they decided to go home and come back the next day for more games and fun!
We had such a fun night! Thanks for all the fun and of course the presents!

December Fun!

I still cant believe that December is over. And the worst part about it is that our Christmas break is over! We loved being home together with nothing to worry about. We got a lot done around the house! It was great! But just like every year, life goes on:) So here are a few highlights of December. Well... pre-Christmas that is.
I tried to make some fun breakfasts during the break and this was one of them. Notice anything strange about that egg? That is how it came out of the shell and I couldnt help take a picture of it. haha! I'd never seen anything like that before!

Bounce house fun! Hadley sat in there and watched Brit and had a great time. Well that is until he got too close and knocked her over.

We went to Vegas for our niece Sophies Bday! We went to Chuck e Cheeses and Brit had lots of fun! He played all the games he could and just like last time loved the cars. He also liked the cup cake if you cant tell. haha. Oh and helping Sophie open her presents. Hadley just had a good ol time eating her puffs and watching everyone. After lunch we went to the outlets and Brit found a Dora hat that he wanted. He even picked it out over the Lightning McQueen one. How funny!

These are just some random cute pictures of the kids in some of their Christmas outfits!
This is Hadleys first experience with Spaghetti and I'm pretty sure she liked it! Im not sure how much she actually ate, but she had a lot of fun playing in it.
Hadley is now 9 months! She is still army crawling like a PRO but she is getting up on her knees and any day she is gonna take off! She is finally sitting up and im so glad. It makes thing so much easier! She got one top tooth and is currently getting the other one. She is an awful teether. She is cranky, gets fevers, wont sleep, drools, had a nasty snotty nose, and wont eat! Im sure thats normal for most babies, but this is a new thing for us. With Brit we would just see new teeth and and that was it. But Im sure we'll survive:) Poor Hads! Her favorite game right now is to play fake cough copy cat! We think its the cutest thing ever! And I tried to put her hair in a pony on the top of her head. Not only did it look funny, but I think it must have hurt so bad. Look at her poor head. Its way red! So we wont be trying that for a while.

Christmas will be up soon. I know your all very excited!
