Lady Antebellum Concert

Wednesday we headed to the Lady Antebellum concert and had a blast. I had been looking forward to it for a long time because they have been one of my favorite bands for a while! It really was so much fun and the weather couldnt have been better. The sun went behind the clouds right at it started, THANK GOODNESS!!! We had our lawn chairs and blankets and just enjoyed ourselves. We went with my 2 little brothers and thier dates and our good friends Melanie and Brian. The kids were at home with a babysitter but I think they would have had a good time too... well at least Brit:) Here's a few pictures of us all. They are from my cell phone so they arent great!

My good friend Shannon took Hadley's pictures right after she was born. We had a lot of fun taking them and they turned out great! She did such a good job and if you want to see more of her work or are looking for a great Photographer click HERE. (And if you go there you can see some pictures of my tummy a few days before having her! I'm humongo, but the one with Brit is super cute!)

Whale Pool Fun

We searched all spring long for the perfect pool and now that we have it we love it. And it was only $10. It is played in almost daily and Brit just loves it. The other day we were outside in the pool for like 4 hours. We got a little burnt but it was worth it! We had so much fun!

Hadley even got in with us and she loved it!

It's Independence Day!

We had a great 4th of July weekend. We headed up to Richfield Thursday night so we could go golfing with Linds and Quinn Friday morning. We had a great time! We also went to the Dairy for some sandwiches and yummy fresh strawberry shakes. MMMMMMMM!!!! We played a few games of Settlers and then went up to Cove to see the elk. We saw a couple dozen, but not nearly as many as we usually do. It was a fun day, thanks mom for watching the kids all day. She even gave up Beatle Mania for them, what a devoted grandma!!! The next day we got ready and headed to the parade. Unfortunately Brit was already needing a nap and we
knew it could be a long day. He sat in our laps the whole parade and could have cared less about the candy. Then at the park we walked around trying to keep him distracted from the fact that he was tired by playing on the playground. We wanted him to race in the kids race and then do the fish grab. We we made it too the races and he did great! He won a 50 cent piece and when he got it kept putting it on his eye. Not sure why, but thats what he did! There was no way he was gonna
make it another hour for the fish grab. We got to the car and barely went a block and he was already out. We were hoping for a good long
nap because the day was far from over!

After the nap we went to the Utley's house for lunch and the water slide Patti rented. Brit wasnt a fan of it, but I was. I felt like a little kid. Melissa, Kenzie, Merica, and I had so much fun! We just went and went and went. I was worn out! Brit had fun watching, drinking lemonade, and swimming in the little pool.

What a fun day! I can't wait til next year!

Class of 2009

I forgot to put this is my June update, even though it was in May:) haha. I can't believe my baby bro graduated. It just makes me feel old! I mean, he was in Elementary School when I graduated. But we're so proud of JD! He's worked really hard in both school and sports and excelled in both! He's such a cute kid and I can't wait to see what he does with this life.

San Diego... June 11-14

This Trip was so much fun and I'm so glad we went. Justin's Fam had been planning this trip for months and we had decided not to go because taking a 2 month old and an almost 2 yr old did not sound fun. They stopped by on there way out and convinced me that it would be fine. So I got excited and had to convince Justin that it would be fine. We still went back and forth all the next day and finally around 2:00 I decided we would DO IT!!!! So I packed very quickly and waited for Justin to get home to pack and we would leave asap. We ended up leaving around 7:00 and drove straight to San Diego. Luckily I have an awesome fatherinlaw who got us a room and stayed up til we got there to help haul stuff in. And the drive there was great. Brit watched a movie and then slept from Vegas on. And Hadley only woke up to eat once. What good kids and great start to the vacation.

The next morning we woke up to head to the zoo. Now if you have been around Briton in the last few months you know he has 2 speeds and 2 speeds only. FAST and FASTER!!! There is no walk in him and he refused to put the monkey backpack on. So there was a lot of fits and tantrums through out the day, but overall he did great! He sat in the stroller more than I expected, but not enough! They need to make strollers where the seats are 2 or 3 feet off the ground so they can actually see the animals. When you're in the stroller you cant see them and he did NOT like that. He absolutely LOVED the animals and could have watched the tigers all day if we would have let him. He did NOT want to leave them. He learned a lot of new animal words that day and of course the sounds to go with them. Hadley slept all day of course, thanks to my wonderful motherinlaw who held her in her wheelchair with her and my sweet nieces who hauled her around all day. I think I held her once or twice:) But remember both Justin and I had to keep tabs on Brit! Here's a few pics of us at the zoo.

Toward the end of the day, we were eating and Brit was running around. Well on his way back to the table he fell and face planted it, hitting his forehead on the bench. I gave him a hug and heard Melissa gasp. This is what I saw when I looked at him!!!

I could not believe my eyes, I had never see a goose bump that big in my life! We took him down the nurse and they gave us some ice and just told us to keep an eye on him. I still can't believe how big it is!
Another story at the zoo is this CRAZY mountain lion that attacked my motherinlaw. Well if the fence wouldn't have been there, she would have been lunch. It came out from it's cave and ran right toward her and just went crazy. It was hissing and clawing at her, and pacing back and forth not ever letting her out of its sight. It was nuts! We all just sat there in Aah and LeAnn was yelling at Randy to get her out of there!! It was quite funny.Justin and I were super worn out, but we survived and had a great day.
Oh yeah, and it was my Birthday that day too! Happy 25th to me!

The next 2 days we headed to sea world. We saw all the animals and even a few shows. Brit loved the dolphins and Shamu. Now whenever a Seaworld commercial comes on he goes, "Shamu Shamu!" It's so cute! He especially loved the Sesame Street part and we ended up spending most of the 2 days there. He played in the water, went on a few rides, jumped around the jump house, and even climbed up the ropes with mommy to the GIANT playhouse. The first time he went on the rides, he was not a fan. He would cry and then scream and then cry some more, but then the 2nd and 3rd time he seemed to like it and didn't want it to stop. Once again we were thankful these 2 days to have our sweet nieces and LeAnn to hold Hadley while she slept! They were troopers.

DAY 1 @ SeaWorld

DAY 2 @ SeaWorld

At the end of day 2 of Seaworld we headed to the beach to play in the water. Unfortunately it was a little too cold and we didn't do much in the water. And as you will see below, Hadley especially loved the water. I'm so mean! Our camera battery ran out here and we only got a few pictures, but Jen has some way cute ones on her camera and maybe eventually I'll get them:)
Like I said before, I don't have anymore pictures, but the next day we went to the Wild Animal Park. Now maybe there are people out there who like this place, but I thought it was a waste of time and money! Maybe I was just very ready to go home, but if you are considering going there, call me first and I will try to talk you out of it:) haha.
Well we had a wonderful time and I'm so glad we went! I know Brit won't remember much, but I will! I love spending time with Justin's family and always have a great time with them. Thanks again for letting us come last minute!

June Update!!!

June was such an exciting month for our Family! We did so many fun things!
Justin had the first week or so off and we had a great time relaxing at home and taking a few trips to the lake. This is our trip to Sand Hallow. Isn't it such a pretty place. We really are so lucky to live so close to this beautiful lake! We really need to take these day trips more often.Brit went out on the boat with Justin and although he cried at first, he ended up loving it, and took a nap which made us both happy cause then we could stay out there longer. Hadley and I stayed on the beach in the shade and loved every second of it.

I went to Richfield with the kids to catch up on some scrapbooking with my mom. Brit loves to jump but was scared of the trampoline until this trip. When he finally realized it wasn't scary he had a BLAST!

The Bradfield Reunion was up at Kolob again this year and although it rained a little we had a LOT of fun! It's such a pretty place. Justin and I used to go up there all the time while we were dating and first married so it's extra special to me. We did a little fishing, 4 wheeler riding, eating, and just enjoying each others company. Sophie aka "Sippy" and Brit play so well together and just enjoy each others company. They would sit on the 4 wheelers together and just laugh and talk. So cute! They also enjoyed picking some wildflowers together on one of our Rhino rides. Hadley slept seriously the whole day because she was so bundled and constantly held. Gotta love being a baby, right?

Here are just a few random pictures that I thought were cute! That one picture of Brit in the bottom corner is him with OREOS all over his face and teeth. He sure did enjoy them!

There are more pictures to come of our fun June. We had a awesome trip to San Diego on my Birthday so they will be up soon!
