A Briton Funny

Briton has been trying to potty train (again) and this morning he was asking for his potty treat and I told him he had to go potty first. So we went into the bathroom and took his diaper off, put some cheerios in the toilet, and stood in front of it. I told him to shoot the cheerios. He starts to push to get some pee out and nothing comes out. So he said to me "Mom, my shooter isn't working!" and ran back into the living room. Oh well, we'll keep trying.
I also think he is scared to pass gas in his underwear cause he's afraid he'll poop. Is that normal? He always asks for a diaper and then when I put one on he'll be farting for like 5 minutes straight. haha!

Hadley is....

WALKING!!!!

She has been walking all over the place this last week. She had been kinda walking for months now, but she is finally walking all the time. She is still trying to get used to the whole shoe thing, but she's doing better and better everyday! I am just grateful that I can put capris on her without ripping the knees and skirts without them getting in the way. haha. Those aren't the only reason though:)

I hope its a stage!!!

Briton is going through this stage (I hope) where he asks a million questions. And its the same 2 questions a million times. He asks me "Mom, wheres your mom?" and he asks Justin, "Dad, wheres you dad?" Don't ask me why this is SSSOOOOO Annoying but it is. Maybe because it's all day long!!!

My kids

So after a long 2 hours at Costco, a few tantrums, and chocolate yogurt spilled all over Hadley I was reminded when I got home how much I love my kids:) I cut Briton up some strawberries (which were the cause of a few of those tantrums) and I put them on his new Lightning McQueen plate and he said "Mom, my plate is AWESOME!!!" and then of course a sweet little "thank you!" Then I was putting away the eggs and I dropped one on the floor. I quickly wiped most of it up and went to rinse the rag out. As I turned around to wipe the rest up I saw Hadley with a rag in hand wiping as well as a 14 month old can. SO CUTE!!! They are such blessing in my life and even though they cause some stress, they always show me so much love and I am so grateful for them.

A Briton Funny:)

I told Briton he couldn't watch Dora any more today and he told me I was a "Pain in the Butt" and of course I laughed. So apparently he thought it was funny and he went and told the guys working on our house that they were a pain in the butt!! woopes!

The Month of May

There was so much going on and of course I saved it all for one long long post.

Brit's friend Kendra and their helmets. She came over with hers and he grabbed my scooter helmet so he could be cool too.

He always takes his GF's right to the swing.

Hadley likes the water park. She scurries around the outside and gets a few splashes here and there, but she has fun!

Brit and Cam warming up.

We went to the rodeo with the Tates. These horses where Brit and Cam's favorite part, but thats only because we couldn't see much of the bull riding.

Hadley chilled with Daddy most of the time.

All the grandkids on Mothers Day (and Melissa and me of course)

So its not the greatest picture of her, but the dress and headband was so stinkin cute I had to put this picture on.
Swingin with grandpa, their favorite thing!

We went up to see JD aka Elder Michaelsen the day before he left for the MTC. I got to go see him set apart and it was such a great experience! He is going to be such a great missionary and we are so proud of him!! Briton asks almost daily where JD is and then answers his own question by saying "He's on a mission!!" What a great example he is! We love you JD!! BTW he just flew out to Houston on the 1st of June and I can't wait to hear how things are going out there.
Not great pictures, but oh well!

We went to Red Cliffs with the Palmers and Burrows a few weeks ago and had a great time. We had the motor home all packed to camp and when we got there we found out they were full! I was pretty Bummed but we had a great evening anyways and got to sleep in our own beds. We played in the creek, ate hotdogs, dutch oven potatoes and cobbler, caught some crawdads, and just had a great time!! We definitely need to do it again soon!
Hadley got nice and dirty and wet. I don't know what kinda mom dresses their kids in white when headin to go camping, but somehow she got that white shirt kinda dirty. haha! So we went redneck style and she kicked it in her blue jean short shorts and no t shirt! Hot Hads!!

The Palmer boys fishin for Crawdads!
Brit lost interest real fast and Justin had to catch them on his own!
All the boys! Such a cute picture!!!
Dalton-Scott-Grant-BoDee-Briton-KoBee
WE decided to get Brit a Helmet and um.... he hates it! But Hadley loves it. she put this on on her own and kept it on for quite a while!

Our little fort in the backyard! Can you find Brit hiding? :)
We finally made it up to see Gramsy and Gramps a few weeks ago! I could not get them by Gramsy to get a pic, but we got a good one with Gramps.
Hadley is so interested in babies when she sees them. She just couldn't get enough of Rilie the other day! She just pointed and talked to her and of course poked a few times too!
This is where I usually find them if they've escaped from the house! This is their favorite little place!
Playin in the bounce house!
I couldn't get him off this dirt pile the other day... well until I grabbed the camera and he got right off to avoid any further picture taking. (Pictures of where that dirt came from will be posted soon! I'm so excited!!!)
Hadley can now climb up the stairs on the play place and go down the slide! I was freaked out at first, but she's a pro now! This is usually how she sits, one foot behind and one foot in front. It doesn't look comfy to me, but oh well!
BTW She is still not walking. She is now 14 months and not walking. Okay, let me take that back kinda. She CAN walk and walks quite a bit. But if she wants to get somewhere quick she is on her hands and knees. She also thinks walking on her knees, yes I said walking on her knees is fun too. What a girl!
We went to Veyo Pool on Memorial day and had a BLAST!!! Brit sported the floaties most of the time and did really good! He has not ever really been a swimming pool fan, but he is getting better!

Just chillin some more and catchin some rays. Hadley on the other hand LOVES water and would stay in it forever if we would let her.

While Justin was packing for his big fishin trip this weekend the kids played with his float tube. I just missed the picture of them sitting in it reading. It was so cute! You snooze you lose!
He loves to play with the hose. It's so annoying for me cause his clothes are constantly getting wet. This picture he had just blasted his face with the sprayer and the front of his hair is sticking straight up. Pretty funny stuff.
Hadley also like to play outside in the water, but doesn't like it when Brit sprays her. She stays far away when he has the hose!!
For the last 2 days she has pushed this all over the house!!!! She can maneuver it pretty good around all the toys on the floor, but also screams pretty good if she gets stuck! And she doesn't really walk behind it, she RUNS!!! It's so cute! She goes up and down the hall and then in the laundry room then outside and then back down the hall! silly girl!

So thats May. Except we went to the zoo when we were in SLC, but that post will be up soon. Not tonight cause it's late and Im tired!!!

Is it Possible???

Not sure, but I'm gonna try! I am GOING to lose 2o pounds in 7 weeks! I have a bug and need to act on it! We have a trip to Cali planned at the end of July and that trip includes many days at the beach! I wanna enjoy it and not be miserable! I won't look fantastic, but every little bit helps!! Hopefully I can keep this drive and keep running everyday and eat healthy! I have been doing pretty good, but I have got to make it a lifestyle change, not just a few weeks of change. So here we go! 20 pounds in 7 weeks.... totally gonna do it! Wish me luck!
