Pizza Pizza Boon Boon

This happened one night when I was at work. Briton says "boon boon" a lot and I guess he was saying "pizza pizza" this night too! So Justin put them together and I guess Briton thought it was funny!

Lots going on at our house!

So as usual our little house revolves around this monster.
And I mean MONSTER! He is so much fun and such a handful I just don't know what to do!
Here are a few things we've been up to the last few weeks.

Firstly we are remodeling our garage (which was decided on a whim of course) and turning it into my preschool/manroom/garage/playroom for our kids in the future! It is turning out better than I expected, but taken 10 times the work and money than I expected also. Pictures will be coming soon. I want to have it all finished before I give the big reveal!

Secondly, Briton is eating everything! He loves mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, pb&j sandwiches, cereal, chicken noodle soup, CHEESE, and really everything we give him. He doesn't seem to be a picky eater and I hope that continues. He is also officially on MILK! I know you're supposed to wait til the BIG 1st b-day, but he stole Camdyn's the other day and nothing seemed to happen. So we started mixing 1/2 milk 1/2 formula and he didn't seem to care. Now he's on all milk and we are loving it! Oh and he also eats dog food! No not really, but one morning he was out with the dogs and this is what I looked out and found. I decided to savor the moment and take some pictures. Don't worry, I didn't ever let him really eat them:)He also liked splashing in their water

He also loves apple juice and is drinking out of a sipper. Well not really a sipper, he doesn't like sippers, but the ones with straws. He takes it everywhere with him.

And thirdly, we love going swimming and going to the waterpark. I had Camdyn the other day and we decided to walk down to the park. They had so much together and loved the water!

They just crawled around through the water and just had a blast. It was so fun watching them!

The water came up right in her face. It was sad, but so funny. She yelled at it and then played in it some more.

One evening I was going to take Briton down to the waterpark and we got all ready to go. I walked out the door and it was pooring rain. So we sat outside and watched for a while and then Brit had had enough watching and wanted to play in it. He really liked splashing in the puddles.

PS Happy 24th of July! We had family come down for the 24th and had a great day. The boys worked on putting a hole in the wall of our garage for a new window (which looks AWESOME) and the girls and kids went swimming, shopped, and relaxed. We had a BBQ that night along with some fireworks and then everyone headed home. What a great day!

This is Jessica on our scooter. She just stuck her feet out the whole time. It was hilarious!

I dare you not to try it...

HOW SMART IS YOUR RIGHT FOOT?You have to try this. It is from an orthopedic surgeon............ This will boggle your mind and you will keep trying it over and over again to see if you can outsmart your foot, but, you can't. It's pre-programmed in your brain!
1. While sitting at your desk in front of your computer, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles.
2. Now, while doing this, draw the number '6' in the air with your right hand. Your foot will change direction............ I told you so!!! And there's nothing you can do about it! You and I both know how stupid it is, but before the day is done you are going to try it again, if you've not already done so.

A few new things!

Well Briton is finding out so many fun things lately. Here's a list of a few of them.

*He can FINALLY CLAP!!! We've been working on it with him forever and dad finally got him to do it. He can also give high fives now!
* He likes walking down to the park and playing in the water. He especially likes the ones that
spray out of the ground! He also like to go down the slide on the playplace!
*He loves watching the washing machine. We have a front loader so he can watch the water and clothes spin and spin.
*He finally gets to try a little candy and sweets here and there. And of course he loves them.

*He's taking steps on his own. He can walk about 5 or 6 steps from mom to dad and go from couch to couch.
*He loves bubbles. We have a bubble blower in his tub and he loves it.
*He loves his fish. He stands in front of his fish tank in his room and talks to the fish and pounds on the glass. The yellow fish doesn't seem to mind and it just swims back and forth right in front of the glass. Briton points at it and follows it back and forth.
*He loves trucks. He's got a few dump trucks and he pushes them all over the place.
*He's already got a great throwing arm. He loves throwing the ball to someone or just playing catch with himself. He'll throw it, go get it, and then turn around and throw it back.
*He likes typing on the keyboard. He stands next to us when we're on the computer and trys to push all the keys.
We just love him so much and have so much fun with him. He's got such a cute personality and we can't wait for all the new things we're going to discover together!

4th of July

I just love being in Richfield on the 4th of July. Something about that small town celebration just makes it special. And now having a kid makes it even better.

We went up on Cove on the 3rd to spend some time with my cousins and to look at all the elk. They are such amazing animals and I love going up there every summer. Then on the 4th, we went to the parade. Briton watched the parade a little, but all he wanted was the candy. Somehow he always had candy is his hands. We hung out at the park afterwards and it was so good to see old friends. I didn't see nearly as many as I wanted to though. It's starting to get so crowded! Then we spent the rest of the day just lounging around and then went to the Utley's for dinner and some backyard volleyball. It was so much fun! We headed home and got Briton ready for bed and of course watched the fireworks. We had such a great day and always love spending time with family.

One Lucky Man!

He's been dreaming about it for years, and it finally happened! My father in law finally retired from Wells Fargo. We went up to Cedar last week to join in in the celebration and had a great time seeing family and friends. Randy, we're so happy for you and can't wait for all the extra visits from Grandma and Grandpa:) That is if you aren't fishing or golfing!
We love you!
