Phillips Family Tradition

A few years ago Justin and I started this tradition while camping at Gunlock. Justin thought the rolling of the eggs down a giant hill, like what I did growing up, was a little boring. And since we both enjoy golfing, we tweeked my family tradition a little bit and invented Easter Egg GOLFING!! You hard boil the eggs and dye them just like you usually would, but then you put them in the freezer instead of the fridge. If you don't, you will have a HUGE mess. It really is so much fun! WE have been doing it for three years now and we don't plan on stopping any time soon. This year we got out too late and the sun was setting by the time we got started. But we still had lots of fun and got to see a beautiful sunset! And for some reason Briton thought it was so funny and every time Justin swung the golf club he laughed. The Tates came too and joined in on the smashing of the eggs. This is their 2nd year smashing eggs with us so it's almost a Phillips/Tate Tradition:)

It looks like you had a fun Easter, and I love the Phillips tradition. Travis to this day still doesn't understand why we would roll an egg down a hill. Maybe we'll have to adopt your tradition, it does sound like a lot more fun!
