Splish Splash

I can't believe how much fun these two have when they are together.
They probably would have stayed in this pool all night if Camdyn's lips wouldn't have started turning blue.

I love this picture! They splashed and splashed!!

WHOOH BED HEAD!!!!

I don't know how his hair managed to get like this during his nap, but I had never seen anything like it before!! Justin and I were laughing so hard, but he didn't think it was as funny (as you can see with the blank look on his face) What a cutie!

CALIFORN-I-A

So this last weekend we took off to California for a much needed R and R with our good friends Jaron and Kari. Although it was hard at first, we left our babies with grandparents. I thought for sure I would cry as I saw him drive off but I knew he would be in good hands and I guess it also shows how excited I was to get out of St. George.

So Friday around 4:00 we flew out of St. George airport to LA. Justin and I hadn't been in a plane since our honeymoon almost 5 years ago so we were excited. And Kari flies all the time because of her job at Skywest so everything went really smooth. When we arrived in LA we got our rental car and headed to San Diego to our hotel. We had mapquest directions that did us no good and we ended up lost, but a good lost. We ended up in this cool neighborhood by the beach and ended up eating at this cool resturant called The Old Spagetti Factory. We decided it was either and old train station or a whore house or maybe both. Whatever it was it was cool:) We finally figured out where we needed to go and got to our hotel and crashed.

The next morning we headed to SeaWorld. I hadn't been there for years so it was like going for the first time. It was a pretty chilly day, but we had lots of fun! We saw killer whales, dolphines, seals, penguins, otters, turtles, tons of fish, rays, sharks, starfish, and so much more. That night we went to the beach and walked along the ocean. It was still cold, but once again lots of fun. After dinner at a fresh seafood resturant, I mean "Market" we got to the hotel and crashed again only to wake up a few hours later to go to Universal Studios.

I hadn't been there forever either and for Justin it was a first. Tons had changed, like no more ET:( but the new additions of Mummy and Jurassic Park were sweet:) This day was much warmer and we had a blast. When we had seen almost everthing we headed for the car rental place to drop off the car and once again got crappy directions, but this time we ended up in the ghetto of LA. Not as fun as the cool beach neighborhood and all the doors of the car ended up being locked as we drove up and down those streets. Somehow Jaron and Kari got us headed in the right direction and we made it with time to spare. The flight back to St. George went by so fast and we were so happy to be home. We finally tucked ourselves into bed around 12:30am and slept like logs.

We were SOOOO excited to see Briton the next day. Too bad he wasn't as excited to see us:( I couldn't believe how much I missed the little guy and it makes me appreciate all the time I do get to spend with him. But it was so nice to get away and I had so much fun hanging out with Justin. And thanks Jaron and Kari for a fun trip! Lets do it again soon!!! Hawaii next though:)
And mom and dad, thanks so much for the break. We really appreciate it. Briton had so much fun at grandma and grandpas and is having to get used to not being so spoiled! Love ya!

Nice hat dude!

Well Brit and I finally made it to one of JD's baseball games last weekend. And when we got home, Brit started chewing on JD's stinky sweaty baseball hat. So we put it on him so he couldn't chew on it and this is what came out of it. Some really cute pic's!

FUN in the balls!

My mother-in-law gave Briton this cute Winnie the Pooh sand box for Easter. But instead of filling it full of sand that I would just be cleaning out of his diaper all the time (and not from sitting in the sand either) I decided to get some colorful balls that are much eaiser to clean up! And he loves them so much. He could just sit in them for ever. The funnest is when there are 2 or 3 in there and they kick and laugh for hours!
All those balls around him and he still chews on his toes.

Baby Shower

My High School friends have stayed extremely close over the last 6 years since graduation. We try to keep in touch with e-mails and the whole blogging thing has made it 10 times easier to know how everyones doing. But we have also been able to have wedding and baby showers for everyone and our new favorite thing is just going out for some good food and then staying for hours just catching up and talking like the good ol' days. This last time everyone met at Pepperbellies in Richfield for Kenzie's baby shower. Everyone that has kids brought the kids at first, but then one by one they disappeared with grandmas and grandpas. It was SO NICE!!!! We stayed for hours. Luckily it was a slow night and we didn't take tables away from other guests. I can't wait for the next one. McCall, Jen, let's get on that huh?!?Oh and Kenz, I couldn't be more happy for you and Steve. Baby boys are so much fun!

Who is visiting our BLOG?

So since I have discovered the blogging world so many good things have happened....
*I've been able to keep in touch with friends that I rarely see or talk to.
*I've learned MANY things about my closest friends that I had NO idea about.
*I've become closer to many people I haven't seen since high school. At least I feel closer because I know exactly what you and your families do:)
*I've discovered cool things and beautiful places that I would like to visit for myself but don't have the money to do so.
*My familiy and friends can see what a cute baby boy I have and I get to show him off daily to anyone who visits my blog.
*My parents have discovered they can get pictures from me and print them off all by themself, saving me time and money. (Just kidding mom, I never minded one bit.)
*And the main reason I blog is to keep a journal of all the great things I get to experience with my family. This is WAY funner than writing in a book at night.

But I have come to wonder who is actually visiting our blog and reading about all these things I write about all the time. I have thought about making it more private, but I love discovering new blogs of old friends and I know I'm not the only one that does it. All you "blog stalkers" you know who you are:) So I decided to get one of those clickers that counts all the times my blog is opened and looked at. And just in the last 2 hours six people have viewed my blog. WOW!! I'm not complaining one bit that you are interested in what I have to say, but if you are not on my friends list, please write me a comment sometime so I know who else is out there. Even if you don't have a blog or if you don't really know me, just comment and tell me who you are. I hope it's not too much to ask!!! Plus it will make my blog stalking a little easier:) Thanks and blog on!
