Fay's Birthday Party

We decided to do a Rainbow them for Faydyn for her Birthday. Everything turned out so cute! 

The rainbow cupcake for everyone to eat and Fays rainbow cake.

This is her cute Rainbow cake! It looks pretty cute, I just didn't think things through very well. I tried Fondant for the first time and my friend helped me make it. The problem is she helped me make it and I finished it. HA! It ended up super thick and I painted the color on there to make it look like a rainbow. But when it warmed up a little the colors ran all over. This was supposed to be her smash cake. But can you imagine the colored mess she would be for a week if she tore into that! And thats if she could even make it to the cake through the fondant:) See that little skittles one in the back right, That ended up being her smash cake. BUT skittles on a smash cake for a 1 year old, not a good idea. So we picked all the skittles off and she ended up with an ugly, boring white cake. Oh well! She didn't seem to mind.

The best part of the party was the rainbow fruit kabobs! YUM!

Of course she got spoiled by everyone! She got lots of summer toys, clothes, baby movies, and fun little chair thats just her size.

She wasn't very interested in it at first, but then she started to realize the fun in it!

We gave her a bath in the pool to clean her off!

It was such a fun day and we are so grateful for our family and friends that could help us make this day special!
