Last weekend we headed up to Kolob (one of our favorite places in the world) for the Bradfield/Thompson Family Reunion. It was the first family reunion for them in many years and it was so good to all be together. I met a lot of Justin's cousins for the first time and then got to know others that I barely knew. It was a lot of fun and we're so glad Tiffany put it all together. Tiffany's in-laws own like 300 acres up there and it's right off the lake. It was so cool and we are so jealous! So here's a little about our trip.
We got up there Friday night and were planning on setting up our tent and braving the cold. But we were so lucky and were offered a small cabin. It had a small kitchen and a bathroom and then a couple futons. Perfect! So after dinner the boys went fishing and the girls stayed and talked and ate more. After smores we all went to bed.
The next day we rode 4 wheelers, fished, ate, and relaxed. It was a very nice day. Briton went on the fishing boat for the first time. He hated the life jacket, but I think it was because it was TOO SMALL! So we bought one that was up to 30lbs. We couldn't even zip it up! He's only 23 lbs so what's up with that. So I'm a bad mom and just let him be on the boat with out it. It was so much fun after that! We caught a few fish and had a great time. He loved holding Grandpas fishing pole. So Brit has officially been fishing! He also went on a few 4 wheeler rides and he absolutely loves that. But like all babies, vacations are hard because Briton was out of his routine. He wouldn't take his naps alone but we didn't mind because we'll take any extra shut eye we can get. And I love cuddling with him, because he hardly ever lets me do that anymore. That night we had dutch oven potatoes and chicken and of course cobbler. YUMMY! There was a little talent show and some more fishing and it was time for bed.
The next morning we packed up, went on a few more rides and headed home sweet home. It was so much fun and we can't wait til next year's reunion.

Jen and Justin were having a corn chucking race.

Justin WON:)

Jess and Sophie

Briton in his pack and play. We just stuck him in it and he played forever. We were sure glad, because crawling and camping don't go well together.

Here's his extra small life jacket. Doesn't that look comfy!

And look at that sad face:(

Wearing the chicken hat

All the oldies (jk) doing the chicken dance. It was quite humorous!

Brit and Sophie eating licorice! Do you think they liked it?
